Dr. Perez earned her DDS and completed a specialization in Prosthodontics at the Colombian Dental College in Bogotá, Colombia. She later immigrated to the United States and earned her DMD through the International Dental Program at Nova Southeastern University’s College of Dental Medicine.

Although Dr. Perez completed advanced prosthodontic training in Colombia, she is not a licensed prosthodontist in the United States. She is, however, a fully licensed general dentist in Florida.
